John C. Serkland has been practicing law for sixteen years concentrating in workers’ compensation law. Working his way through college, Mr. Serkland was employed as a mover, painter and carpenter, so he understands the physical demands placed on an employee’s body and the effect an injury can have on one’s occupational activities.
Prior to his career as an attorney, John C. Serkland worked as a sales manager. His experience in sales has proven to be a valuable asset. Over the course of his career, he has recovered millions in workers’ compensation benefits for his clients.
Mr. Serkland earned his Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in 2001. He received his MBA from Dominican University in 1999 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary’s College in 1994.
In his spare time, Mr. Serkland is a working musician playing throughout the city, and enjoys participating in sixteen inch men’s softball leagues.
